Synopsis:

In the video installation, imagery drawn from botany, ornaments, video recordings of plants, and 3D scans is projected onto an inclined, slightly reflective surface. In slow movements and pans, the camera glides along a wall of frozen leaves. Faint birdsong and the gentle sound of rain on foliage can be heard, suggesting a semblance of the natural. In violet-glowing diagrams and tableaux, ornaments derived from vegetal forms are juxtaposed, one after another, with botanical abstractions of blossoms.
